This was an unplanned litter between a father and daughter and what a wonderful bunch of puppies they turned out to be!  Liza was bred the day Hannah was in having surgery to what ended up being a washcloth in her stomach.  Though numerous attempts were made to spay her before the puppies were born my vet said not to spay her and to let her have the puppies, she had 2 1/2 weeks left to go.  The puppies were born May 17th, 4 boys and 2 girls.  Liza did a great job whelping and was a fantastic mother.  One boy got aspiration pneumonia and died at around 3 weeks of age.  Poppy's story is on her page, she is a tiny girl of under 15 pounds at 13 weeks of age, but what a personality!  All have wonderful temperaments, the most affectionate puppies I have had here to date.   The puppies went to see the cardiologist at 11 weeks before they went to their new homes.   The puppies have wonderful homes and I could not ask for more, thank you all for letting them be a part of your lives!
