Wrinkles was my first bloodhound and showdog. Born May 28, 1991, he was one of the few who I have seen who truly loved the show ring and showing off. He never met another dog he did not like and had his nose bitten more than once. He loved the kiddie pool and spent endless hours cooling himself off in the summer months. More than once he attracted attention from passerbys in cars who would stop to watch him sleeping in the pool with his head hanging over the side. He always managed to emit laughter from all who knew him and was quite a character. He taught me a lot about bloodhounds and he is the reason I have the others. Wrinkles was neutered after he finished his championship and lived to be 5 1/2. He died from a tumor that ruptured on his spleen in Septemeber of 1996. He is sadly missed by everyone who knew him. |
